EQUIPPING AND TRAINING

The Pastoral Care Centre endeavor to put up a modern fully equipped digital sermon preparation facility.
This facility will have both soft and hardware materials to assist the ministers prepare their sermons and print them .
The facility will also offer the necessary basic Bible complimentaries in order to make is easy for the ministers to prepare rich sermons for their congregations

REFRESHING AND RE-ENERGIZING

Shepherds go through stressful moments as they discharge their day to day assignments. This may but not limited to the following:

Burials of both members and by extension members relatives

Visiting the sick both at home and hospitals

Visiting and feeding the aged, widows and orphans

Sorting out disputes among the congregants

Encouraging the weak and those that are on the verge of giving up

Chairing elders meetings, planning meetings etc

Dealing with Spiritual and financial conmen, false and cultic teachings

All this can lead to fatigue and eventually burnout. They need a place where they can relax and regain some energy and balance through a refreshing meal, speaking to their maker or even get someone to cheer them on.
Pastoral care Center will come up with a facility to take care of both their spiritual and physiological needs. The centre shall put up gym and a restaurant for that purpose

ENCOURANGEMENT AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT

Our shepherds occasionally go through a lot of spiritual turmoil’s. Some are rejected out rightly by their congregations and church boards. Others face rebellion from a section of elders who influence the members negatively while others are confronted by both financial misappropriation and integrity issues The centre will come up with a team of seasoned leaders who will walk confidentially and prayerfully with our shepherds with a view of encouraging and offering them the much needed spiritual and psychological support.

REVIVAL

The Pastoral Care Centre will work together with the shepherds to bring and maintain revival in the churches by offering materials for teaching, training, pasturing and evangelism.

CAPACITY BUILDING

We recognize the need for growth and training of our shepherds. We will encourage them to take advantage of the online courses being offered by credible theological colleges and universities while they continue taking care of their flocks.

NETWORKING

We recognize the much influence we can have through peer training and counseling. PCC will be a tool for networking of shepherds in Kenya and beyond. We will always endeavor to link the church in Kenya with the global church.
